From 2006 to 2018, Eric Mérand supported Olympique Lyonnais in defining, building, and operating its infrastructure (stadium, training center, and academy).
2018: Provided project management assistance and operational oversight for the Museum, which opened on June 6, 2018.
2017: Consultant for interim management, recruitment and onboarding, organization and management of the Museum project, and activity coordination. Managed 20 OL matches, the League Cup final, Coldplay and Céline Dion concerts, a Monster Truck show, 200 seminars, and 100,000 visits.
2016–2017: Within OL, served as Stadium, Training Center, and Academy Operations Director. Oversaw security, guest services, fire safety, first aid, cleaning, waste management, building maintenance, sports fields, landscaping, furniture, equipment, and construction. Managed the inaugural match and Will.I.Am show, 30 OL matches, 2 European Rugby finals, 6 Euro 2016 matches, Winter Games, Christophe Maé and Rihanna concerts, 150 seminars, and 50,000 visits.
2012–2015: Within OL, Director of Construction for the Grand Stadium and Training Center. Led studies, regulatory procedures, tenders, employment and inclusion initiatives, construction, interior design, equipment, commercialization, operational planning, and communication. Coordinated 300 companies and 5,000 workers.
2006–2012: Consultant for the management of the Parc OL Project. Oversaw a 50-hectare development including a 60,000-seat stadium, brewery, museum, retail spaces, training center, leisure facilities, offices, a hotel, parking lots, a bus hub, and landscaped parkland.
